New BPS Poker Ambassador Johnny Kelly
Player of the BPS Carnival Joins Forces with BPS

We are delighted to introduce Johnny Kelly as the inaugural ambassador of the British Poker Series. Kelly, who took first place in the BPS Player of the Carnival competition last month, will take part in the poker tournament series that is expanding across the UK.
Kelly's - AKA JK to many - accomplishments as a player and industry professional have made him a well-known figure in the local and global poker communities. JK is a great asset to the BPS brand and possesses a wealth of knowledge.
“First and foremost, I am delighted and grateful to the British Poker Series for inviting me to be an ambassador. I’ve been very fortunate in recent years to have played all over the world at various buy-in levels, with some success. Before that, I worked in the industry, so taking time off and working most weekends made it difficult to play," said JK.
He continued, “My two decades of experience in the field, from dealing in the WSOPE to managing a poker room, have led me to believe that my involvement at BPS will be most advantageous. After meeting with BPS and learning their culture and how they want to promote the brand and make it the best experience for everyone that participates, I believe this relationship is a great fit for us all. I look forward to seeing both old and new friends in the future months and years”.
The appointment of Johnny Kelly was confirmed by BPS Operations Director Lee Johnston. "I'm thrilled to have Johnny join the team. Johnny agrees with our goal of expanding poker in the UK and abroad. Kelly will be playing the BPS Championship, which has over £350,000 in guaranteed prize money, a £200,000 guaranteed Main Event for £340, and an additional £1,500 Malta Poker Festival Package to be awarded to the BPS member who lasts the longest in the BPS Championship Main Event, is something we are very excited about him playing in.
